Three words often used to describe Molly Mae Spadazzi would be 'I don't care'. Her basic philosophy to happiness can be summarized succinctly and aptly in that tiny phrase. At a rather young age, she came to the astute conclusion that the main cause for human misery was caring too much, and so she resolved to allow as little to bother her as humanly possible. Her not caring, of course, also means that there have been, more than a few occasions that she has been called a bitch, because like stated she just doesn't give two shits what anyone else thinks. When conversing with others, she will not censor herself and speaks without thinking things through. The second words are formed in her mind, they are out of her mouth. If anyone has a problem with something she said, then, in her opinion, it is their problem, not hers. Likewise, if anyone has a problem with something she did, she recognizes that it is their problem and their issue. For this reason, she almost never apologizes for anything. To apologize would be a lie, as she clearly doesn't feel sorry. Keeping still is not one of her stronger points. Molly is often restless, has an extremely short attention span and gets easily distracted. As a result, she often forgets about homework and studying for tests until the last minute. While she enjoys history quite a lot, she finds the classes and the paper writing excruciatingly boring and would much rather be out their investigating it than writing about it. She likes to experience things for herself. Molly is a doer, a fact which is both self-proclaimed and agreed with by nearly everyone who comes into contact with her. That's why she prefers to travel, and see the world for herself and explore history, rather than spend her Saturdays googleing pictures of Rome or Paris or writing about WWII. She thinks there are much better ways to spend her time, than writing a bunch of apparently "useless" papers about what happened in history rather than see what happened with her own two eyes. According to her, that's no way to become a great historian; it's a way to become a great author...or text-book writer...but most definitely not a historian. All in all as long as people can deal with her mouth going a mile a minute, her laziness when it comes to school work, and her occasional open mouth insert foot moment, she's likely to stick by them in the long run. The way to the girls heart is through her stomach, present her with mint chocolate chip ice cream or chicken nuggets and she will instantly turn into a greedy glutton. Another place where she seems to consume a little more than might be healthy is in the alcohol department. Where alcohol is concerned, Mojitos, Margaritas, Daiquiris, Sangria, Screwdrivers, Long Island Tea, Sex On The Beach, Vodka (straight, or on the rocks), Tequila shots or even good ol' beer is right up her alley. Thankfully, she's matured a little bit and isn't getting wasted every night or dancing on tables while flashing boys for beads. She is no longer the party girl that is found stumbling out of clubs and back to the house. Instead, she works hard and plays hard only when she has time off. She loves time with her girlfriends and having a party or going to the club every now and again, but she’s young and life is short, so she figures why not drink up and have a little fun? Live Fast, Die Pretty and besides she’s not flunking her classes yet.... Molly Mae Spadazzi was born to squabbling parents, Michael and Sarah (the latter who later took back her maiden name of Cometti), who somehow managed to stay together for eight more years after her birth, and pop out another daughter, before finally filing for divorce. Much to her dismay, their cow of a mother was given custody instead of their cheating father. The divorce was finalized when she was in the third grade and her mother promptly bought a large house (payed for in part by her alimony and spousal support, both of which she will receive in large sums for the rest of her life) in Houston deciding that uprooting herself and her two children was not the route to take. Sarah was a teacher at Molly's high school all four years, a fact she found terribly embarrassing. She spent half her time at school trying to avoid her mother. She resents the fact that the moms of other kids at school handed out cookies and muffins while hers handed out detentions. Her little sister is by far her mother's favorite of the pair due to her academic excellence and track record. As a result, she was often left to bear the brunt of her mom's evil eye. Sarah found fault with her eldest daughter at every opportunity she could get, and disapproved of her daughter's sporting inclinations. As far as her mother is concerned, she spent (and still spends) too much time running around giggling with friends, playing softball or soccer, and too little time on her actual studies. She is even more displeased that she not only chose to attend NYU for her BA but that that she has achosen to continue at NYU for her masters rather than an Ivy league forgetting that her daughter probably didn't even make the grades necessary to get accepted to a school like Yale or Columbia anyway. She is without a doubt a Daddy's girl. She adores her father to the ends of the earth and back, and wishes he had won custody of her instead of her mother insisting that her childhood years would have been much more enjoyable that way. Since she was a tot, she has always been the apple of her father's eye. He never hesitated to buy her whatever her heart desired and it was her dad who taught her to to play soccer (she attended NYU on a scholarship the first time around, this time she's relying on loans and grants) in the first place. Soccer has always been two of their father-daughter bonding activities, and possibly why she has grown to become so passionate about the sports. Her younger sister, Madison, and she, have a slightly tempestuous relationship. She abhors the manipulative hold Maddie has on their dad and the two have been in fierce competition for fatherly attention since they were tots. In her eyes, Madison is nothing more than a spoiled little brat screaming to be noticed and she couldn't be happier to be away from her while at school. |
molly is 23 and originally from houston but moved to new york for school after high school. right now she is working on getting her masters at nyu and working a crappy minimum wage job. anyway, her basic philosophy to happiness can be summarized succinctly and aptly in the phrase, ‘i don’t care’, because she decided as a child that the main cause of human misery was caring too much. however, she does have a soft spot for a few people and if you fuck with those people she’ll gut you like a fish. she’s been told numerous times that this makes her a bitch, but going back to her philosophy, obviously this doesn’t affect her too terribly much. she will never lie to a friend ever, period, the end and can sometimes being a bit reckless and a bit of a wild child. she likes to go out and have a good time and as the username suggests, she has been known to send a drunk text or two after a night out. she says what she thinks when she thinks it, but generally she can be a pretty chill chick if you don’t annoy the shit out of her and can put up with her attitude, but really you can take her or leave her, you won’t find her jumping for joy or crying tears over either choice. |
